I'm constantly inspired by the beautiful knitting and sewing projects from the Purl Bee. I just finished one of these for a friend's baby.

Its been really cold here in Vancouver and though its sunny, I'm dreaming of warm holidays and lazy days with friends. Since neither of those might be possible for some time, I decided to go look through some photos from the last time we were in Greece. I never posted any of them so since I'm reminiscing, as good as time as ever. Though it wasn't an easy trip; Avenir was just 15 months so the heat and endless stone steps were exhausting, but its spending time with dear friends that is always what I live for. And Greece is a magical place.

I know everyone has been taking foggy landscape photos these days, but walking the dog everyone morning on the seawall, I just can't help myself. Its gorgeous.

Its fall but there are still beautiful hydrangeas in bloom.

My talented mother took this one at Jericho Park. Supposedly there were bunnies everywhere, presumedly the grown up babies from the spring.

I just discovered this very talented illustrator and handletter extraordinaire, Carson Ellis.
